"Incredible Storytelling": Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal Bowled Over By Kartik Aaryan's 'Chandu Champion'

Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan's latest collaboration 'Chandu Champion' is making steady progress at the box office. Despite having a slow start at the ticket counters, the new Hindi movie has managed to find an audience for itself. This comes after glowing reviews for the film. In the latest entertainment news, Bollywood actors and couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have reviewed the film, calling it an "incredible story".
Taking to Instagram Stories, Katrina Kaif wrote, "Kabirrrrrrrr just loved the film, you are such a beautiful storyteller, you brought such a incredible story to life, was so emotional to see this story and how beautifully you have made this film. And such a outstanding performance by @kartikaaryan and all the cast @kabirkhankk."
On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal wrote, "Thoroughly enjoyed watching the film! Incredible storytelling @kabirkhankk Sir. Moves you, inspires you, entertains you! Spectacular work @kartikaaryan keep shining brother... Salute to the true champion...Murlikant Sir!!"
As per early estimates posted by industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Chandu Champion’ minted Rs 2.50 crore on Thursday, the seventh day of its release.
The nett domestic collection of ‘Chandu Champion’ now stands at Rs 35.25 crore. On Thursday, the new Hindi movie had an overall 11.71 per cent Hindi occupancy.
'Chandu Champion' now needs to hold its ground at the box office as Rohit Saraf and Pashmina Roshan-starrer 'Ishq Vishk Rebound' has released in cinemas.
Next Thursday i.e June 27 will see the release of Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani and Kamal Haasan-starrer 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
For the unversed, ‘Chandu Champion’ has been produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The movie also stars Vijay Raaz, Bhuvan Arora, Yashpal Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Aniruddh Dave, Shreyas Talpade, and Sonali Kulkarni.
The new Hindi movie narrates the story of a sportsman's resilience and determination. It is based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming.
