Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s playful Instagram banter over her quirky dance video left fans in splits.
Bollywood’s favourite husband-wife duo, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, lit up Instagram on Wednesday with their trademark humour. Known for their playful, tongue-in-cheek exchanges that often delight their followers, the couple once again left fans in splits after Twinkle posted a quirky dance video – and Akshay responded with a teasing comment that quickly became the centre of attention. In the video, Twinkle is seen attempting the hook step from the popular track ‘Tamma Tamma Again’ from ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’, a move originally made famous by Madhuri Dixit and later reprised in the Varun Dhawan–Alia Bhatt starrer.

True to form, Twinkle Khanna put her own spin on the routine, adding a humorous twist towards the end. She captioned the post with her signature self-deprecating wit, “Thought I was pulling off a Madhuri, but ended up looking like Sanjay Dutt. Side note: fractured my foot during the pandemic attempting this very step. Whose dance style do you think you have and what’s the reality?”
Akshay Kumar, never one to miss an opportunity to join in on the fun, swooped into the comments section with a cheeky one-liner that quickly went viral: “Talent – questionable. Confidence – unshakable. Wife – priceless.”
The remark struck just the right balance of teasing and affection, prompting fans to erupt with laughter. One fan declared, “Your comment wins!” while another teased, “Talent questionable… are you not afraid of her?” The comment thread soon turned into a comedy arena, with author Tahira Kashyap playfully remarking, “Killing it. Literally.”

While Twinkle has transitioned from acting to writing, producing, and now hosting, Akshay continues to juggle one of the busiest schedules in Bollywood, yet both still make time for moments of light-hearted fun.
Twinkle is set to co-host an upcoming talk show with Kajol titled ‘Too Much with Twinkle and Kajol’, which promises candid conversations and unfiltered humour. The show will be available on Prime Video, though the release date has not yet been announced.
Meanwhile, Akshay is preparing for the release of ‘Jolly LLB 3’, the latest installment in the much-loved legal comedy-drama series directed by Subhash Kapoor.
Co-starring Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla, the film is set to hit cinemas on 19 September. Akshay also has ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ in the pipeline, adding yet another big-ticket project to his already packed calendar.
