Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor Drop New Poster Of Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix Film ‘The Archies’, Fans Say “Can’t Wait”
Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor, who are making their Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’, have shared a new poster of the Netflix film.
Get ready to witness a bunch of new faces soon! Every year, a fresh batch of talent enters the Bollywood film industry, and 2023 will be no different. Several new faces are all set to make their Bollywood debuts this year with Zoya Akhtar’s directorial venture ‘The Archies’, which has become one of the biggest launch pads for star kids. ‘The Archies’ will launch Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan grandson Agastya Nanda.
Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina will also star in Zoya Akhtar's official Indian adaptation of Archie Comics. As the anticipation for ‘The Archies’ is rising, Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor dropped a new poster of the upcoming Netflix film.
Along with sharing the new poster, Khushi Kapoor wrote, Meet the @archiesnetflix gang. Coming soon, only on @netflix_in! #TheArchiesOnNetflix.”

The new poster stays true to its comic counterpart in terms of its looks and overall appeal. While Suhana will play the diva, Veronica, Khushi would be seen as the girl-next-door Betty, and Agastya will play the titular lead, who is torn between love and friends.
Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda will play the other gang members designed around Reggie, Jughead, Dilton and Ethel.
Apart from ‘The Archies’, Agastya Nanda will also be seen in ‘Ikkis’, a war film directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by Dinesh Vijan, also starring veteran actor Dharmendra.
As soon as the new poster was shared on Instagram, fans flocked to the comment section of Khushi Kapoor’s post to express their excitement for the Netflix movie.
One fan wrote, “Excited to see this!! You’re gonna be awesome!”
Another one added, “cant wait to watch itt.”
“Sooo excited for this,” another comment on the post read.
Suhana Khan also dropped the same poster on her Instagram account. ‘The Archies’, which is reportedly a musical set in the 60s, began production last year in April.
Shah Rukh Khan also shared the poster, and taking to Twitter, he wrote: "I remember when I was young ( millions of years ago ) would book my Archie’s Digest in advance to rent. Nostalgia. I hope Big Moose is also in the film! All the best to the whole cast and love."

‘The Archies’ is the first OTT feature produced by Tiger Baby Films, co-owned by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti. They recently enjoyed success with ‘Dahaad’, a web series starring Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah, co-directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, that streamed on Amazon Prime Video India.
Tiger Baby Films is also producing Season 2 of ‘Made in Heaven’ on Prime Video, that's currently under post-production.
Along with the OTT projects, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti have also co-written ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, Farhan Akhtar's directorial venture, starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
