Countdown For Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda And Khushi Kapoor’s Debut Film ‘The Archies’ Begins. Here’s When It Will Release

Everyone has been eagerly awaiting the release of ‘The Archies’, directed by Zoya Akhtar. The Netflix film, based on the iconic Archies Comics, marks the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. It will also introduce us to several other new faces – Mihir Ahuja, singer Aditi Saigal (Dot), Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda. And looks like the wait is finally over as the makers and cast of ‘The Archies’ have finally announced the release date of the Netflix film.
The film is set to release on December 7, 2023. With only 100 days to go for ‘The Archies’ to release, the announcement was made in a very unique and interesting way. The cast of the movie posed in front of a massive live billboard on Mumbai’s Western Express Highway.
What is so unique about this, you may ask? Well, the billboard features a countdown timer which shows the number of days left for the film’s release.
Taking to Instagram, Suhana Khan shared a video with the other cast members posing in front of the billboard at the Western Express Highway and captioned it, "The Archies are all set to arrive on December 7th!!#100DaysToGo.”

All of the cast members chatted, posed, jumped, clapped and hugged each other as the release date was announced.
In the clip, Suhana Khan was seen in a grey cropped top and denims. Khushi Kapoor wore grey sweatshirt and trousers. Agastya Nanda opted for a white T-shirt, blue jacket and denims. Vedang wore a grey outfit, while Mihir and Yuvraj opted for white casuals. Aditi was seen in a red and black outfit.
‘The Archies’ promotions so far have been quite unconventional. This year, on Independence Day, the film's cast served food to guests at The Bombay Canteen. Several pictures and videos from it obviously went viral.
The film's trailer was released at the grand Netflix Tudum event in Sao Paulo, Brazil, earlier this year.
‘The Archies’ has been directed by Zoya Akhtar and it has been co-produced by Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and Sharad Devarajan under their production houses Tiger Baby and Graphic India. It will release on streaming giant Netflix.
In the film, Suhana Khan will essay the character of Veronica Lodge, Agastya Nanda of Archie Andrews and Khushi Kapoor of Betty Cooper. Vedang Raina will be seen as Reggie Mantle, Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones and Aditi Dot as Ethel Muggs.
