Tamannaah Bhatia Performs Linga Bhairavi Devi Punya Puja At Home. See Pics
Tamannaah Bhatia shared glimpses from Linga Bhairavi Devi Punya Puja at her Mumbai home, reflecting on a spiritually uplifting day marked by an unexpected spell of rain.
Taking a beautiful pause from the relentless pace of her professional life, Indian actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently opened the doors of her Mumbai residence to host a sacred Linga Bhairavi Devi Punya Puja. Offering her fans a rare glimpse into her spiritual journey, the Bollywood actress shared a series of heartfelt photos from the intimate ceremony, reflecting on devotion, family, and a serendipitous change in the weather that made the day truly magical.
For the puja ceremony, Tamannaah looked absolutely ethereal as she embraced classic Indian elegance in a stunning pink saree adorned with elaborate gold brocade borders and motifs. Keeping her look beautifully grounded and refined, she paired the traditional drape with subtle jewellery – including a delicate neck chain, simple stud earrings, and a single bangle.

Her look was perfectly finished with a neatly tied bun and tilak on her forehead. In the glimpses shared, the actress radiated a deep sense of tranquillity. Whether seated in deep meditation with her eyes closed amidst the warm glow of traditional lamps, or standing gracefully on her balcony against a picturesque dusk backdrop of the sea, her serene expressions conveyed a profound spiritual connectedness.
Tamannaah Bhatia also penned a poignant note about the lingering energy in her home after the rituals concluded. “Everyone had left. The chants had faded. The puja was complete. Yet I found myself sitting beside Devi, not wanting the day to end,” she wrote.
Emphasising the joy of togetherness, she noted that the atmosphere remained vibrant with prayer, celebration, devotion, and laughter. “What made the day even more special was sharing it with family, loved ones, and everyone who gathered under one roof,” she added, explaining that a spiritual process brought into a home creates a moment for everyone who walks through the door to pause and experience life more deeply.
The puja, a consecrated ritual dedicated to Devi (the feminine divine) to invite wellbeing, harmony, and prosperity, was conducted by Sevikas from the Isha Yoga Center near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The Linga Bhairavi tradition itself was established by spiritual leader Sadhguru, founder of the Isha Foundation. Tamannaah expressed deep gratitude to the sadhvis, praising the grace, care, and joy they brought to the space, noting, “When Devi comes home, she doesn't just enter a room. She changes the atmosphere around it.”
In a beautiful twist of fate, the atmosphere literally did change. The Bollywood actress revealed that she had been quietly worrying about the unbearable Mumbai heat and how to keep her guests comfortable during the gathering. However, at dawn, she awoke to a sudden transformation: swaying trees, cool winds, and rain-drenched flowers. The heat had simply vanished. "The puja happened hours later. But in some ways, it felt like Devi had arrived at home with the rain," she beautifully concluded.
On the professional front, following this spiritual recharge, Tamannaah is gearing up for her highly anticipated film ‘Vvan: Force of the Forest’. Directed by Deepak Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, and produced by Ekta Kapoor, the film pairs her with Sidharth Malhotra. Rooted in rich Indian folklore and set in the dense, mythical heartlands of Central India, the gripping tale is being shot in real forest locations to ensure maximum authenticity. ‘Vvan’ is slated to hit theatres later this year on August 28, perfectly timed for the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
