The teaser of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ introduces Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf in a quirky rom-com packed with nostalgia, comedy, and romance.

Dharma Productions unveiled the teaser of its upcoming romantic comedy, ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’, on Friday morning, setting the internet abuzz. Written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film features a star-studded cast including Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, and Rohit Saraf in the lead roles, with supporting roles by Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Adar Poonawalla, and Khaitan himself, and is slated for a grand release on October 2.
The quirky teaser, lasting just 52 seconds, establishes the film’s playful tone right from the opening scene. It begins with Varun Dhawan’s character dressed as Baahubali, only to be hilariously described by a friend as “Ranveer Singh ki dhoti mein Prabhas ka paudha.” Quickly, Varun breaks the illusion, clarifying that he is not a warrior but rather “Sanskari Sunny.”
The teaser then cuts to a lively montage introducing the rest of the main cast. Janhvi Kapoor appears graceful in a saree, Sanya Malhotra lights up the dance floor, and Rohit Saraf makes a grand entry in full ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ style, complete with Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic helicopter arrival. The teaser ends with a funny exchange between Varun and Janhvi’s characters – she insists she knows what a nightclub is, while he comically assumes she is confusing it with a jagran.
