Shahid Kapoor left the internet in splits as he pranked wife Mira Rajput, with a fake cracked phone screen in a hilarious new behind-the-scenes video.
If there is one Bollywood couple that knows how to keep their social media game strong (and hilarious), it’s undoubtedly Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput. The power couple, who was reportedly shooting for a jewellery brand campaign together, just dropped a behind-the-scenes video that has the internet in splits. From harmless pranks to adorable banter, the video served as a perfect glimpse into their chemistry.

The highlight of the video was undoubtedly Shahid Kapoor’s mischievous prank on his wifey. The clip opened with a panicked Mira Rajput staring at her phone, which appeared to have a completely shattered screen. Visibly upset, she asked the crew, “Who has done this to my phone? It's cracked!”
While Mira tries to figure out the culprit, she quickly realizes it’s the work of her husband, exclaiming, “You did this nonsense!” Meanwhile, Shahid, being the ultimate troll, initially pretends to be innocent. Mira points at a crew member saying, “He only did that.” Shahid acts dramatically, shocked and shouting, “Kisne kiya ye? Usko mere saamne lekar aao!”
However, the ‘Kabir Singh’ actor couldn't keep a straight face for long. He eventually breaks character, laughing maniacally and revealing, “Oh, ye toh joke hai”, implying that the crack was likely just a sticker he used to scare her.
The fun didn’t stop at the prank. The video was a montage of Shahid trying to cheer up – or annoy – Mira. In one segment, Shahid playfully mocked Mira’s serious demeanour on set. He whispered to the camera, “Madam ka aaj mood accha nahi hai”, before adding a hilarious reason for her grumpiness: “Madam ko zukhaam ho gaya hai”.
He even shooed the camera away in mock fear, saying, “Madam ko disturb mat karo, jao yaha se,” before quickly trying to butter her up by telling the crew, “Madam very beautiful na?”
Shahid Kapoor was clearly in high spirits during the shoot. The actor was seen dancing and goofing around the set, trying to get a reaction out of Mira, who simply smiled and shook her head at her husband's antics.
Shahid captioned the chaotic and cute video, “MADAM and me. #shootlife @mira.kapoor,” and fans loved it. Comments have been pouring in, with Sophie Choudry dropping laughing emojis and fans calling them the “cutest couple ever”.
One thing is for sure: a day on set with Shahid Kapoor is never boring!
For the unversed, Shahid and Mira got married on July 7, 2015, in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends. They are doting parents to daughter Misha and son Zain.
