The festive spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi has completely taken over Mumbai, and Bollywood’s biggest stars are stepping out to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Amid the ongoing celebrations, superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a highly anticipated appearance at the city’s most famous pandal. The actor, accompanied by his wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana Khan, visited the iconic Lalbaugcha Raja to offer their prayers and participate in the evening aarti. Lalbaugcha Raja traditionally attracts thousands of devoted fans every single year, with massive crowds lining up to seek darshan.

Monday evening was no different. Visuals shared by Viral Bhayani quickly went viral, capturing the full Khan family making their way through the massive sea of devotees. Surrounded by heavy security personnel, SRK was seen playing the protective family man, actively shielding Gauri and Suhana from the surging crowd as they headed toward the pandal.

Dressed beautifully in traditional outfits for the Ganpati darshan, the family was also accompanied by Shah Rukh's manager, Pooja Dadlani. Once inside the highly secured pandal, the superstar made sure to wave at his cheering fans. He also stayed back for the aarti, personally ensuring that both Gauri and Suhana received a proper and peaceful darshan of the deity.

Interestingly, this latest appearance comes just days after Shah Rukh attended another high-profile Ganesh Chaturthi event. He had previously joined Mukesh and Nita Ambani's grand Ganpati celebration at their Mumbai residence, Antilia. While several top-tier Bollywood celebrities – including Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt – happily posed for pictures in front of the paparazzi, Shah Rukh opted for a quiet entry, skipping the media entirely. However, glimpses from the private celebration still surfaced online. One viral photograph captured Shah Rukh standing right beside Nita Ambani, while actor Ranveer Singh performed the aarti.
While the superstar remains devoted to the festive season, he is also heavily focused on his highly anticipated return to the big screen. Shah Rukh is currently awaiting the release of his next film ‘King’, directed by Siddharth Anand. The massive project features an ensemble cast that includes Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, and Raghav Juyal.
Recently, Shah Rukh revealed that the intense action sequences in the movie were physically tiring, sharing that he even suffered on-set injuries. When a fan asked what he was most looking forward to showing the audience, Shah Rukh kept it broad, stating, “Everything in King ...worked very hard to entertain as many as possible. The action the songs the actors and of course my hair!!!”
He also revealed that he has been closely involved with the visual effects process, keeping the post-production crew on its toes. Giving fans a peek into his current late-night schedule, the superstar wrote, “Troubling RC Vfx a lot. Sitting on Harry and Keiten head to deliver the best. I think they might ban me from coming to the office late nights soon.”
Scheduled to hit theatres on December 24, the film is almost 100 days away from its release.
