Salman Khan recently stepped out for the first time after two suspects on a motorcycle fired five rounds outside his residence.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, who was last seen opposite Katrina Kaif in the 2023 movie ‘Tiger 3’, stepped out for the first time after shots were fired outside his Mumbai home on Sunday. The Bollywood star was spotted exiting his home on Monday night. Salman Khan was seated in his car, which was surrounded by police vans and security personnel. Varinder Chawla took to Instagram and posted a video of Salman Khan as he returned to his residence after stepping out for the first time since the firing incident.

For the unversed, five rounds of shots were fired outside Salman Khan’s residence early on Sunday and one of the bullets reportedly landed on the balcony of the actor’s residence.

The two accused escaped on a bike and have been arrested in Gujarat now. Identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, they were arrested from Bhuj on Monday. Sources told The Indian Express that the shooters were likely working at the order of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Earlier, Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of Lawrence Bishnoi who is currently in jail, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Salman Khan was given Y plus security after he received threats in 2022. The firing incident has left Salman Khan’s family shaken.

On Tuesday evening, Salman Khan’s brother, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan took to social media to condemn the incident and stated that the family is “taken aback” by the shocking incident.

He wrote, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified person on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place.”

Arbaaz Khan clarified that some individuals falsely claiming to be connected to the family have been issuing “loose” statements to the media.

Arbaaz also said that these statements should not be taken seriously. “No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support,” he added.

Salman Khan had earlier received death threats from Canada-based fugitive gangster Goldy Brar.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in the 2023 Hindi movie ‘Tiger 3’ alongside Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.

Last year, he was also seen in Farhad Samji's ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, which marked the Bollywood debut of Shehnaaz Gill and Palak Tiwari.

Salman Khan will next be seen in Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss’ upcoming movie titled ‘Sikandar’, which is slated to release in cinemas on Eid 2025.
