“Where Is Shah Rukh?”: Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar And Ajay Devgn Unite For Variety India Cover
Variety India’s magazine cover featuring Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn sparked debate online, with fans praising the iconic frame while missing Shah Rukh Khan’s presence.
Bollywood heavyweights Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn recently came together for Variety India’s magazine cover shoot. As soon as the cover surfaced online, it sparked intense discussion among fans – many of whom expressed disappointment over the absence of Shah Rukh Khan. On February 1, Variety India unveiled the first-ever cover of its magazine, featuring Salman, Ajay, Akshay and Aamir. The cover described the quartet as, “Unshakable. The superheroes that broke the rules of stardom.”
In the striking visual, Akshay Kumar can be seen seated on a couch, while Salman Khan, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn stand behind him, hands resting on each other’s shoulders, creating a powerful frame.

Fan reactions poured in almost instantly. While many praised the image, several viewers pointed out Shah Rukh Khan’s absence. “Wow, this looks amazing!! I love this. Missing SRK though — it would’ve been a complete picture. Akshay looks so good, though. A lot of aura in just one pic,” one user commented.
Another wrote, “SRK should have been in this as well,” while someone else added, “Missing SRK in this — that would have been a generational pic.” Comments like “This picture is incomplete without SRK” and “Where’s SRK?” flooded social media, with one user even noting that Hrithik Roshan also deserved a spot on the cover.
Despite the debate, a large section of fans was thrilled to see the four superstars together. “What a legendary frame,” one fan wrote, while another called it “totally unexpected.” Others hailed the cover as a moment featuring the “four pillars of Bollywood” and “four legends in one frame.”
Adding to the buzz, Variety India hosted a grand launch event in Mumbai on Sunday. The star-studded evening saw appearances by Akshay Kumar along with Twinkle Khanna, Salman Khan, Shanaya Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, among several other celebrities.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Salman Khan is currently gearing up for the release of ‘Battle of Galwan’, directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangada Singh. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on April 17.
Akshay Kumar will next be seen in ‘Bhooth Bangla’, directed by Priyadarshan, which also stars Wamiqa Gabbi and Paresh Rawal, and is set for a May release.
Ajay Devgn is preparing for ‘Drishyam 3’, directed by Abhishek Pathak. The film also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran and Jaideep Ahlawat, and is slated for an October 2 theatrical release.
