Ranbir Kapoor and Yash hosted a special event for content creators, giving an exclusive inside look at their upcoming film ‘Ramayana’.
'Ramayana', directed by Nitesh Tiwari and backed by Namit Malhotra, remains one of the most anticipated Indian projects in recent times. Fans cannot wait to see what Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi have cooked up in the two-part saga. Ahead of the film's release later this year, both Ranbir and Yash recently hosted a special event for over 150 content creators, giving them an exclusive look at their highly anticipated mythological drama. The attendees also had the chance to interact directly with the actors and watch behind-the-scenes footage showcasing the film's massive scale and vision.
According to Hindustan Times, the event also featured a 15-minute presentation displaying the never-before-seen glimpses and unreleased material from the highly anticipated film. The biggest highlights of the evening were Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. The duo was joined by Ravie Dubey, who will portray the role of Laxman.
Content creators who were present at the event are now sharing photos with the stars. One content creator took to X to share glimpses and wrote, “#Ramayana special glimpse showcased: Film making & exclusive BTS footage; Massive sets & grand production scale; Character looks (Lord Hanuman’s reveal kept under wraps); They are aiming to build an entire Ramayana Universe!”

'Ramayana' is being produced by Prime Focus Studios, in association with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations. The first part is scheduled to hit theatres on Diwali 2026, with the conclusion following in Diwali 2027.
Known for directing successful films such as 'Dangal' and 'Chhichhore', Nitesh Tiwari is expected to present the ancient tale with a perfect balance of authenticity, emotion, and spectacle. One of the biggest talking points surrounding ‘Ramayana’ is its star-studded cast. Ranbir Kapoor is set to portray Lord Rama, while Sai Pallavi is playing Goddess Sita. Yash, famous for the blockbuster 'KGF' series, is cast as Ravana.
The film's ambitious production values, extensive pre-production work, and focus on world-class visual effects have already generated immense buzz among fans.
