Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir Kapoor is currently gearing up for one of Bollywood’s most ambitious projects, ‘Ramayana Part 1’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. He will be seen portraying Lord Rama in the mythological epic, which is slated for a Diwali 2026 release.
The film has already generated immense buzz for its grand scale, sweeping visuals, and star-studded cast. Sai Pallavi stars as Sita, Yash takes on the role of Ravan, and Sunny Deol is set to portray Lord Hanuman. The music is also expected to feature notable collaborations, including composer AR Rahman, adding to the project’s pan-Indian appeal.
Apart from ‘Ramayana’, Ranbir is also part of ‘Love & War’, a period romantic drama helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Starring alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, the film is already being discussed for its lavish scale and elaborate production design, making it another highly anticipated addition to the actor’s upcoming slate.
