Priyanka Chopra Jonas is the latest celebrity to be impressed by ‘Maa Behen’, a film starring Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga. The satire, which was released on Netflix, has been earning praise from all corners, and PeeCee is the latest star to give a glowing review to the Hindi film. Earlier, Vidya Balan had also praised the film, saying, "Apki toh Maa Behen aek ho gayi Netflix pe. Was so much fun to watch the crackling chemistry between Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri and Dharna Durga."

Recently, Netflix India shared 'Maa Behen' taking the number two spot on the Netflix’s Top 10 Non-English Films list and it was also confirmed that the film was trending in 15 countries. The film was only behind the Spanish film 'The Marked Woman', which took the top spot.

Speaking of 'Maa Behen', the Suresh Triveni-directorial is the story of three women. Madhuri plays a widow, while Triptii and Dharna play her daughters. While Triptii is married, Dharna lives in Patna, following her passion for content creation. The film's story shows Madhuri calling her daughters home, and how the two find out that their neighbour, Gupta Ji (played by Ravi Kishan), has died in their house.

The film combats many forms of patriarchy that exist in our society and, also makes the audience laugh.
