Bollywood actress Khushi Kapoor, daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and late iconic actress Sridevi, will next be seen in Advait Chandan’s ‘Loveyapa’, alongside Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan. The star kid has always been vocal about undergoing cosmetic procedures. Ahead of the release of her upcoming film, Khushi Kapoor admitted that she has recently also gotten work done on her eyebrows. For the unversed, she had earlier admitted to getting a nose job done. While speaking to Curly Tales, Khushi Kapoor was asked about the weirdest thing on her phone.

To this, she said it would probably be some “embarrassing pictures” of herself.

“I had gotten my eyebrows nano-bladed the other day. I have naturally very thick eyebrows but I found some gap in them so I went and got them a bit filled in,” Khushi Kapoor said.

“And, you can’t get your eyebrows wet for 10 days. So, they give you a shield that you stick on your forehead while you shower and it looks really funny. I took a really close up picture from the shower with that shield on my face, and sent it to my friends without any context whatsoever. They didn’t even question it because this is just so normal now,” she added.

When asked about her decision to speak about cosmetic surgeries publicly, Khushi said, “I don’t think it’s such a big deal. The main issue is that people are scared that they will get hate if they come out and admit it. I just feel like there’s going to be hate either way. People think that the term ‘plastic’ is the biggest insult you can give someone, but I don’t think it’s bad if someone gets work done and stuff like that.”

Khushi also candidly spoke about how some people enhance themselves cosmetically but say that they are completely “natural”, setting an unrealistic standard of beauty.

“The issue is when people enhance themselves cosmetically and say that, ‘I woke up like this and I am completely natural’, because then you are setting an unrealistic standard of beauty. It’s unfair to younger girls who look up to you and then they think, ‘Oh, I don’t look like that, why can’t I?’ But, it’s because so much effort has gone into it – you have a team, facials, this and that. There are so many things for skin care that you can do to look a certain way and not everyone knows that,” she added.

Janhvi Kapoor’s sister Khushi also said that actors should be truthful with their fans, instead of giving out false information.

“You might as well be honest because people are going to not like you for some or the other reason. And, I didn’t want it to be like, ‘Oh, she has come out and said it’. That’s why I just replied to a random comment, I don’t think it should be a big deal,” she said.

Khushi said that she also didn’t want to fuel speculation about her appearance by lying.

“I understand where other people are coming from because I was scared for a while as well. I thought they were already saying ‘plastic’ and that I have done things I have not done, so if I say the one or two things I have done, will they hate me even more because I have admitted it? When you think about it, it’s not a big deal. I am still the same person, it really doesn’t matter,” the actress further said.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Khushi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of ‘Loveyapa’. The film will hit theatres on February 7.

The movie is a remake of the 2022 Tamil film ‘Love Today’. Apart from Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan, it also stars Kiku Sharda, Grusha Kapoor, and Ashutosh Rana.
