Kartik Aaryan To Play Don Hussain Ustara In Vishal Bhardwaj's New Film: Reports
Vishal Bhardwaj and Kartik Aaryan are reportedly teaming up for a new film, based on the life of Hussain Ustara.
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who made his acting debut in the 2011 Hindi movie ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, has cemented his place in the entertainment industry as a bankable star. Having starred in films like ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, ‘Luka Chuppi’, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, ‘Freddy’, ‘Dhamaka’ and more, Kartik Aaryan is known for his boy-next-door charm. In recent years, Kartik Aaryan has tasted massive box office success with hit movies like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘SatyaPrem Ki Katha’.
The Bollywood actor, who will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘Chandu Champion’, has now reportedly joined hands with ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj.
Film journalist Rahul Raut took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared the news about Kartik Aaryan’s casting in Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film, based on the life of Hussain Ustara.
In the tweet, it was also revealed that the upcoming film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Reportedly, this project was earlier in the works with late actor Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone.
The upcoming film is scheduled to go on floors in September 2024. However, the female lead has not been finalised yet.

Kartik Aaryan is currently shooting for his upcoming movie ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, co-starring Vidya Balan and Triptii Dimri.
It was earlier reported that Kartik Aaryan was in talks with Vishal Bhardwaj for a film, which will release in 2025.
“Kartik Aaryan is balancing his line-up. He did back-to-back commercial films like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Shehzada and followed it up with an intense love story like Satyaprem Ki Katha. He is now looking to take things a notch higher by getting into conversations with National Award-Winning director, Vishal Bhardwaj. It’s a gritty thriller and the duo are jamming well on the subject,” Bollywood Hungama had quoted a source as saying.
Kartik Aaryan’s next ‘Chandu Champion’ will release in cinemas on June 14, 2024. Apart from ‘Chandu Champion’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ and Vishal Bhardwaj’s next, Kartik Aaryan will also be seen in an untitled project, backed by Karan Johar. The movie was announced last year on Kartik Aaryan’s birthday.
