In the video circulating online, Kareena Kapoor looked visibly irritated as she was caught in a moment of frustration while waiting for a lift. As word of the family’s presence spread, a massive crowd of fans and spectators quickly converged on the area, eager to capture photos and videos of the Pataudi family. The sudden influx of people appeared to create a chaotic environment, leading to a visible exchange between Kareena and a member of her team.
In the viral clip, Kareena can be seen appearing tense as she addresses someone from her staff. At one point, the actress seemed to lose her cool regarding the lack of crowd management, turning to Saif Ali Khan and asking, “What is happening?” Despite the brief delay and the surrounding frenzy, the family eventually managed to enter the lift and proceed to their seats a few minutes later.
The initial friction did not seem to cloud the entire night, however. Once settled into the stands, Kareena appeared far more relaxed and was seen smiling and soaking in the stadium atmosphere. Visuals from later in the evening showed her cheering enthusiastically and enjoying the game alongside Saif and the children, seemingly putting the earlier chaos behind her.
On the field, the match proved to be a tough one for the home team. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru ultimately secured a victory over the Mumbai Indians, winning the match by 18 runs. Despite the MI loss, the presence of the Kapoor-Khan clan remained one of the biggest talking points of the night.
On the professional front, Kareena Kapoor continues to maintain a powerhouse schedule. She recently wrapped production on ‘Daayra’, a highly anticipated investigative crime thriller directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and is produced by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios, is slated for a 2026 theatrical release. ‘Daayra’ is described as a deep dive into the moral complexities of justice and public opinion.
This follows a successful string of projects for the actress, including the hit 2024 heist comedy ‘Crew’, the suspense-driven thriller ‘The Buckingham Murders’ and the action entertainer ‘Singham Again’.
