Watch: Kareena Kapoor Reacts As Jamie Lever Mimics Her ISPL Match Expressions
Jamie Lever’s hilarious mimicry of Kareena Kapoor’s viral ISPL match expressions won the internet and even Kareena’s approval.
Actress and comedian Jamie Lever is known for her razor-sharp observational humour and uncanny mimicry of Bollywood stars, including Sara Ali Khan, Farah Khan, Kangana Ranaut, and Ananya Panday. Now, she has once again taken the internet by storm with a spot-on imitation of Kareena Kapoor Khan, perfectly recreating the eternal Bollywood diva’s expressions – a performance that even Kareena herself applauded. The inspiration came from Kareena’s recent appearance at an ISPL match, where she attended with husband Saif Ali Khan and their sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir (Jeh) Ali Khan.
Several clips from the match quickly went viral, with Kareena Kapoor’s animated reactions and expressive face becoming a talking point online. Jamie Lever recreated those very moments in a new Instagram video, captioned “2 mins of Bebo.”

She set the clip to Kareena Kapoor’s popular track ‘Yeh Ishq Hai’ from ‘Jab We Met’. From the intense game-time stares to subtle eyebrow lifts, Jamie Lever captured the nuances flawlessly. One particularly hilarious segment showed her mimicking how Kareena appeared to discipline her son Jeh during the match – delivering “the classic Indian mother look” with just her eyes.
The video had fans in splits. Farah Khan showed her appreciation by liking the clip, while viewers flooded the comments section with praise. “So on point,” wrote one fan. “Expression queen,” commented another. Others described Jamie as “everyone’s doppelgänger,” adding remarks like “So accurate,” and “I am watching you Jeh… best.”
What truly elevated the moment, however, was Kareena Kapoor’s own reaction. The actress dropped laughing and heart emojis and wrote, “Best.”
Jamie Lever has built a strong reputation for her mimicry acts. She previously went viral for impersonating Farah Khan and roasting contestants on ‘Bigg Boss 19’. Even Salman Khan praised her on stage, saying she might even surpass her father, legendary comedian Johnny Lever. She was also recently seen hosting a Netflix event, where she mimicked Sonam Kapoor in front of Anil Kapoor.
On the professional front, Jamie was last seen in ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’, headlined by Kapil Sharma. The film also featured Ammy Virk, Jassie Gill, Warina Hussain, Tridha Choudhury, Parul Gulati, and Ayesha Khan. Despite the ensemble cast, the sequel received mixed reviews and underperformed at the box office.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor will next be seen in ‘Daayra’, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The crime drama also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran in a leading role. The film promises to explore complex social realities and the age-old conflict between crime, punishment and justice. Filming has been completed, though the release date is yet to be announced.
