"You Have Road Rage": Kareena Kapoor Calls Kajol "Worst" Driver
Kareena Kapoor Khan, who shared the screen with Kajol in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham', described the latter as the "worst" driver in the 90s.
2023 has been a good year for actresses Kajol and Kareena Kapoor. Both the leading ladies won a lot of applause for their work in Netflix projects 'Lust Stories 2', and 'Jaane Jaan'. In the latest entertainment news, the duo made an appearance on Netflix's Actors Roundtable 2023, and there was great camaraderie on show between the two. During the chat, Kareena Kapoor Khan, who shared the screen with Kajol in 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham', described the latter as the "worst" driver in the 90s.
During their chat, Kareena and Kajol were involved in a funny argument where the former accused the latter of having "road rage" in her, whereas Kajol disagreed.
For the unversed, Netflix's Actors Roundtable 2023 was attended by Kareena, Kajol, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sidharth Malhotra, Sanya Malhotra, Amruta Subhash and Tilotama Shome. During the discussion, Kajol asked Sidharth if he ever felt like killing people on the road or did he get road rage in him after playing a serial killer in his 2014 film 'Ek Villain'.
“I want to play a serial killer. I want to play something that is unapologetically black, without any excuses. I would love to play Hannibal, but I don’t know whether I will be able to manage it or not. Making something so unacceptable acceptable, I would love to do that. I think I can sell it. I will have the most fun. I will be eating chicken liver and pretending it’s human liver," said Kajol.
Kareena Kapoor then interrupted her, saying, "Because you do have road rage, Kajol, I do know, you have road rage. In the 90s, she was the worst driver in history."
To this, Kajol said, "Out of everybody on this table, I am probably the only one who drives also, so let’s leave it at that.”
Kajol also asked Kareena if she had ever sat with her in a car, to which the latter replied, “I have heard many stories. I have seen you enter studios. Anybody who has not walked a mile in my shoes, has no right to comment.”
For the unversed, in a 2011 interview with The Times of India, Kajol had admitted that she has a lot of "road rage."
“I have a lot of road rage. Mostly with the rickshaw and cab drivers trying to cut me, it’s the traffic, Grrrr," said Kajol.
Apart from 'Lust Stories 2', Kajol also made her OTT show debut this year with Disney+ Hotstar's 'The Trial'.
