Kareena Kapoor Says She Can Give “Competition” To Jasprit Bumrah In Bowling As She Plays Cricket With Taimur
Kareena Kapoor Khan enjoyed a cricket playdate with her son Taimur Ali Khan and flaunted her bowling skills in a hilarious post.
Who isn't a fan of Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian cricketer? The entire world recognises his talent, and he is one of the finest bowlers around. Not many can match his talent, but Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan believes she can give Bumrah a run for his money as far as bowling is concerned. Yes, you read that right! Recently, the 'Omkara' actress treated her fans to some fun moments, in which she was seen enjoying a playdate with her son, Taimur Ali Khan.
The duo was seen enjoying a game of cricket, with Kareena bowling while Taimur displayed his batting skills. And staying true to her "main apni favourite hoon" genes, Kareena couldn't help but go gaga about her own skills as a bowler. She jokingly compared her bowling to the ace speedster Bumrah, who is known to terrorise batters all around the world.
On Tuesday, Kareena took to Instagram to share a couple of pictures of herself playing cricket with Taimur. She was seen dressed in a pink shirt and blue jeans. Taking to Instagram Stories, she wrote, "Don't underestimate my talent. I can give Bumrah competition too."
Hours later, Bumrah also reshared Kareena's Instagram Story and wrote, “I have no doubt. Great skill.” The pacer also shared laughing emojis.

Kareena Kapoor had once revealed in an interview that Taimur is not particularly interested in cinema and is more passionate about sports. The actress stated that Taimur often asks her whether she is friends with former India captains Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli and whether she could arrange a phone call with them.
Taimur's late grandfather, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was a celebrated cricketer. He captained the Indian cricket team and also received the CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001, the highest honour bestowed by the BCCI on a former player.
On the work front, Kareena will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar's 'Daayra', alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is inspired by true events. The crime thriller will reportedly explore the themes of crime, justice and punishment.
The project is backed by Junglee Pictures and Pen Studios and is scheduled to release in theatres on September 18.
Apart from this, Kareena is also reportedly set to reunite with Salman Khan for a superhero film by filmmaker duo Raj & DK, backed by Mythri Movie Makers. According to reports, Kareena is in advanced talks to play the female lead.
