It’s hard to believe it has been over two decades since Hrithik made his massive Bollywood debut alongside Ameesha Patel in the romantic drama ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai’. Helmed by his father, Rakesh Roshan, the film was a box-office success, becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood film of that year and turning Hrithik into an overnight sensation. The blockbuster also featured a stellar supporting cast, including Anupam Kher, Dalip Tahil, Mohnish Bahl, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Satish Shah.
Interestingly, this isn't the first time Hrithik has set a wedding dance floor on fire recently. In December 2025, he attended the wedding festivities of his cousin Eshaan Roshan and Aishwarya Singh. Alongside dancing to dhol beats at the baarat, he delivered a high-energy sangeet performance to Sukhbir's 1999 hit ‘Ishq Tera Tadpave’, where he was joined by his sons Hrehaan and Hridhaan, his girlfriend Saba Azad, and his cousin Pashmina Roshan.
On the professional front, Hrithik is gearing up for a massive milestone: his directorial debut with the highly anticipated ‘Krrish 4’. Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan recently confirmed that pre-production is currently in full swing because of the film’s extensive scale, with shooting scheduled to begin by the middle of next year for a planned 2027 release.
Speaking about stepping into the director's chair during a recent meet-and-greet in the US, Hrithik candidly admitted his nervousness. “I feel like I'm back in kindergarten,” he shared. “It seems I have to grow up in a whole different way all over again. It's going to be a new challenge, uncertainties, seeking, searching.”
