Govinda Hospitalised After Accidentally Shooting Himself In Leg With Gun
Bollywood actor Govinda has been hospitalised after accidentally shooting himself in the leg.
Veteran Bollywood actor and Shiv Sena leader, Govinda has been hospitalised after accidentally shooting himself in the leg. As per several reports, the actor's gun misfired, and the bullet ended up hitting his kneee. As per news agency ANI, Govinda has sustained a bullet injury to his leg. Govinda was reportedly cleaning the weapon at the time of the incident in his Mumbai.
It was then that the bullet hit his knee. The actor is currently undergoing treatment at CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai.
"Govinda was getting ready to leave for Kolkata. He was keeping his licensed revolver in the case when it fell from his hand and a bullet got fired which hit his leg. The doctor has removed the bullet and his condition is fine. He is in the hospital right now," ANI quoted Govinda's manager Shashi Sinha as saying.
The incident took place around 5 AM in the morning on Tuesday. He has been admitted to the intensive care unit of the hospital.
However, as per AajTak, he is currently out of danger.
For the uninitiated, Govinda had earlier served as an MP between 2004 and 2009, under the Indian National Congress (INC).
Over the years, Govinda has become a household name due to his slapstick performances and dancing skills.
