Watch: ‘Eetha’ Teaser Clip Leaked Online, Shraddha Kapoor’s Power-Packed Performance Has Fans Excited
Shraddha Kapoor-starrer ‘Eetha’ teaser leaked online on Friday and fans cannot keep calm.
Ever since the blockbuster success of Amar Kaushik's 'Stree 2', fans have been eagerly waiting for Shraddha Kapoor's next project. Two years have passed since the release of the horror comedy, and Shraddha hasn't been seen in any other project yet. However, it is all set to change as the Bollywood actress gears up to headline Laxman Utekar's next titled 'Eetha'. Finer details about the project have been kept under wraps and we only know that it is a biographical drama inspired by the life of legendary Maharashtrian Lavani artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar.
The film's teaser has not been digitally released but it was attached to the theatrical release of 'Cocktail 2', starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna. It is worth noting that both 'Cocktail 2' and 'Eetha' have been produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films.
Eetha's teaser has now leaked online, and several fans have been sharing it on both X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. The clip opens with Shraddha portraying Vithabai, who is seen crying in pain as she prepares for a performance despite being nine months pregnant.
After giving birth backstage, she decides to step onto the stage. Even when she is warned that dancing could cost her life, she declares, "Padi padi mari toh bechari kehlaungi, naachte hue mari toh misaal ban jaaungi." The teaser then showcases glimpses of Vithabai's journey and her unwavering dedication to her art.

Soon after the clip surfaced online, several users reacted to it. "This is the National Award for Shraddha. What a screen presence, aura and acting. She literally nailed it," wrote one user.
Another wrote, "Shraddha is back with a bang."

Speaking of 'Eetha', the upcoming Hindi film has been directed by Laxman Utekar, the filmmaker of Vicky Kaushal-starrer blockbuster 'Chhaava'. The project is based on the life of legendary Maharashtrian Tamasha and Lavani artist Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar.
Backed by Maddock Films and produced by Dinesh Vijan, the film also stars Randeep Hooda and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles. 'Eetha' is scheduled to release in theatres on August 28.
