The makers of the upcoming film ‘Gunmaaster G9’ have released a new romantic track titled ‘Do Din Ki Zindagi’, featuring lead pair Emraan Hashmi and Genelia Deshmukh. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya and sung by Vishal Mishra and Shreya Ghoshal, the nearly three-minute music video steps away from heavy drama to focus on the quiet, everyday routines of its two protagonists and the steady romance that unfolds between them. The video opens with a wide, serene shot of the sun rising over misty hills, pulling back to reveal a two-story countryside house with a windmill bearing the sign “Jiya”.

As a gentle piano melody sets the pace, Emraan Hashmi’s character – sporting a beard, glasses, and a beige beanie – is seen waking up in a sunlit room and affectionately checking on Genelia asleep beside him before heading out for the day.

The opening montage establishes the grounded, working-class lives of both leads. Emraan’s character works at “Jiya Farms,” where he is seen tending to cattle in a shed – pausing to touch his chest in a gesture of reverence, revealing a Trishul tattoo and pendant – before overseeing metal milk cans being loaded onto a pickup truck labelled "Jiya Dairy Fresh Milk" and greeting locals.

Meanwhile, Genelia Deshmukh’s character is introduced sorting through trays of blue-and-silver foil-wrapped chocolates, peering through a glass cabinet, and later riding in a red e-rickshaw while carefully balancing a tall stack of tied confectionery boxes.

A title card reading “Their Life, Their Love, Their Song” transitions the video from their daily work to their personal equation. Vishal Mishra’s vocals begin with the lines “Agar Khuda ne banaya hai dard, toh koi humdard bhi banaya hoga,” set against intimate, dimly lit shots of the duo. Framed through glass windowpanes that cast soft reflections of their faces, Emraan and Genelia stand inches apart, trading quiet smiles and lingering glances.

As the chorus kicks in with “Khol dil ke dar dehleez par, ishq ko aane de, do din ki zindagi mein, sau saal wali mohabbat ho jaane de,” Emraan pushes open a set of wooden-latticed café doors to meet Genelia, who is dressed in a maroon sweater. The two share a warm embrace in the doorway. From there, the visuals unfold as a montage of their companionship across familiar neighbourhood settings. They are seen laughing together across a local café booth over a glass of chai, walking side by side down a busy market street past local shops, and sitting on the floor in a dimly lit room where Emraan wraps an arm around her shoulders.

When Shreya Ghoshal’s vocals take over in the second verse, the setting shifts to a broad flight of stone steps in a traditional courtyard centred around a large tree wrapped in sacred red threads. Wearing an oversized grey-and-beige off-shoulder sweater, Genelia rests barefoot against Emraan’s back and shoulder as they soak in the sunlight. As the verse concludes, Genelia wraps her arms around his neck from behind while Emraan holds a Rudraksha mala against his lips with his eyes closed.

In one of the video’s most affectionate sequences during the final chorus, Genelia sits perched on a wooden porch railing while Emraan sits on the steps below her, gently holding her bare feet against his cheek as she looks down at him smiling. The final stretch revisits flashes of their closest moments before fading out.

The end credits confirm that ‘Gunmaaster G9’, presented by Krishna Mukut, is directed by Aditya Datt and features music by Himesh Reshammiya with lyrics penned by Junaid Wasi. Produced by Deepak Mukut, Sangeeta Ahir, and Hunar Mukut, the film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026.
