"Live On Separate Floors": Did Kangana Ranaut Just Call Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt "Farzi Couple"?
Actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday once again seemingly launched a veiled attack against Bollywood couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
Actress Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday once again seemingly launched a veiled attack against Bollywood couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. In a series of Instagram Stories, Kangana Ranaut called out a "farzi (fake)" couple for spreading fake news about movie announcements. She also claimed that on a recent family trip, the wife and their baby were "snubbed", while the husband texted Kangana, "begging" her to meet him. This is seemingly a dig at Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as the former had recently joined mom Neetu Kapoor and family in London for their birthday while Alia Bhatt and daughter Raha stayed in India.
In an Instagram Story, Kangana wrote: "In another news a farzi husband wife jodi who live on separate floors and pretend to be a couple are spreading fake news about movie announcements which aren't being made also calling a brand owned by Myntra their own ... besides no one wrote about how wife and daughter was snubbed from a recent family trip, while so-called husband was texting me begging and pleading to meet him ....This farzi jodi needs to be exposed."
In another Story, she said: "This is what happens when you marry for movie promotions/ money/ work and not for love ...this actor who married under the pressure of a mafia daddy was promised a movie trilogy in return for marrying papa ki pari, movie trilogy has been canned and now he is desperately trying to break free from the fake marriage.... But sadly no takers for him now.... He must focus on his wife and daughter...this is India ek baar shaadi ho gayi toh ho gayi... aab sudhar jao."
Kangana Ranaut posted these Instagram Stories after hinting at the negative media coverage about one of her new projects.
"Anytime I am about to announce any film this kind of obnoxious bulk mass mails with appalling headlines demeaning me and my co-actors begin to get heavily promoted everywhere....Only thing I can say to gang changu mangu ...'kya jali tumhari kya jali," wrote Kangana.
This is not the first time that Kangana Ranaut has taken potshots at Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. Quite often in the past, the 'Queen' actress has slammed the Bollywood couple.
Talking about Kangana, the actress will be next seen in 'Emergency', which is based on the life of former India Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi.
She will also be seen in 'Chandramukhi 2' and 'Tejas'.
