Bollywood stars and power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone recently organised a meet-and-greet session for their three-month-old daughter Dua and the Mumbai paparazzi. This was the first time that the celebrity couple introduced their baby girl to the shutterbugs. The couple also made a special request, asking the photographers to not click her pictures at public events or outings.
Popular Mumbai paparazzo Pallav Paliwal has now shared what went inside the special private meeting where Ranveer and Deepika introduced Dua."When we reached Deepika and Ranveer were there. Then Deepika went inside and brought baby Dua in her arms. The whole time Dua clinged on to her mother and then we met her," said Paliwal, as per Hindustan Times.
Pallav Paliwal also said that Dua was dressed in a simple white dress. "They requested us not to make too much noise as Dua had just woken up from her nap. After a while Deepika took Dua back inside. They have requested us not to click or publish Dua's photographs until they are ready," he added.
"They didn't just leave after that. They stayed with us during the whole time. Baad mein unhone ek Sindhi sweet bhi distribute ki jo Ranveer ko bhi bohot pasand hai. Usne bola catering waalo ko ki theek se mithai heat kar ke sabko serve ki jaaye. After that they gave sweets for families," Pallav Paliwal further said.
For the unversed, the paparazzi were not allowed to bring their cameras inside the meeting venue. Mobile phones were also not allowed. Deepika and Ranveer individually clicked pictures with everyone from their own phones.
This is not the first time that a couple has requested the paps to respect their privacy. Earlier, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had also organised a special tea party for the paparazzi to introduce their daughter Raha.
However, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt did not bring Raha in person to meet anyone, but they showed her pictures to the shutterbugs.
For the unversed, Ranveer and Deepika were blessed with a baby girl, Dua, on September 8, 2024. The couple announced the arrival of their little bundle of joy on social media.
Recently, Deepika Padukone made her first solo appearance at recently held Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Bengaluru.
