Bollywood's beloved power couple, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, are getting ready to welcome their second child, and they've just treated fans to some seriously heartwarming photos! On Tuesday (September 8), marking their daughter Dua's second birthday, the couple shared a beautiful series of intimate, black-and-white pictures from their maternity shoot. The couple, who announced their second pregnancy earlier this year with a sweet post featuring little Dua holding a positive pregnancy test (captioned simply with evil eye emojis), clearly wanted to include their firstborn in this special moment.

In the new photos, which Ranveer shared in a joint Instagram post, Deepika looked absolutely stunning in a fitted lace outfit that perfectly highlighted her growing baby bump. Ranveer, keeping it classic in a white shirt and trousers, can be seen gently holding her bump in one shot as they smiled with their foreheads touching.

But the true star of the show was definitely the birthday girl! Two-year-old Dua, who the couple has largely kept out of the public eye since her birth in September 2024, stole the spotlight with an adorable smile. In one playful shot, she stood between her parents, covering her face while Deepika and Ranveer crouched beside her. Fans were quick to comment on how fast Dua has grown over the last two years, while also showering Deepika with praise for her gorgeous maternity look.

Ranveer captioned the beautiful post, “Baby Dua and our hearts are getting bigger! Thank you for your blessings! @deepikapadukone.”
The post was quickly flooded with love from their industry friends. Ranveer’s ‘Dhurandhar’ co-star Danish Pandor commented, "Mashallah beautiful," while Sara Arjun added, "The most adorable family."
While they prep for baby number two, both stars are staying booked and busy. After stepping away from two high-profile projects, Deepika is officially set to star in Siddharth Anand’s highly anticipated ‘King’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan, marking her sixth collaboration with SRK.
She is also working on Atlee’s sci-fi action film ‘Raaka’ with Allu Arjun, which is slated for a 2027 release. According to reports, she even continued shooting portions of ‘Raaka’ during her pregnancy.
Meanwhile, Ranveer has started filming ‘Pralay’, an upcoming post-apocalyptic zombie survival thriller set in a dystopian Mumbai, which is currently shooting in the city.
The couple, who first met on the sets of ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ in 2013 and tied the knot in a grand Lake Como ceremony in November 2018, are clearly enjoying this beautiful new chapter as they expand their family.
