Bollywood actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan are all set to collaborate for the first time. The duo will be starring together in an upcoming action-comedy film. The upcoming Hindi film will be bankrolled by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment. This development was confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media.
"AYUSHMANN - SARA ALI KHAN TO STAR IN DHARMA - SIKHYA’S ACTION-COMEDY… Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment reunite, this time for an action-comedy headlined by #AyushmannKhurrana and #SaraAliKhan," trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
"Written and directed by Aakash Kaushik… This is Dharma and Sikhya’s third theatrical collaboration… Shooting has begun… Title will be announced soon," he added.

“Karan and Guneet have been very excited about this subject as the script has shaped up well with a perfect blend of espionage elements with comedy. The script tick marks all the boxes of a commercial film as it has scale, thrill, and action with a lot of comedy, and the trio of Karan, Guneet, and Aakash feel that Ayushmann Khurrana fits the character," Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying.
"The film goes on floors in a couple of months and the official announcement with title is around the corner. The makers are in advanced stages of discussion with Sara Ali Khan to play the female lead," the source added.
For the unversed, the upcoming movie will mark the first collaboration between Ayushmann Khurrana and Karan Johar.
On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in 'Dream Girl 2', alongside Ananya Panday.
On the other hand, Sara Ali Khan was last seen in OTT release 'Ae Watan Mere Watan'. She has Anurag Basu's 'Metro In Dino' and 'Sky Force' in the pipeline.
