Director and actor Anurag Kashyap has made a big remark against Kangana Ranaut.
Director and actor Anurag Kashyap has been busy promoting his latest release 'Haddi' off late. The new Hindi movie, which premiered on ZEE5 on September 7, also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Zeeshan Ayyub. In the new Hindi movie, Anurag Kashyap is playing the role of an antagonist. In the latest entertainment news, Anurag Kashyap and Zeeshan Ayyub opened up on their experience of working with actress Kangana Ranaut in the past.
For the unversed, Zeeshan and Kangana have shared the screen in movies like 'Tanu Weds Manu', 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns' and 'Manikarnika'. While, Anurag Kashyap had produced Kangana Ranaut-starrer 'Queen'.
In an interview with Jist, Zeeshan said: "There was a time when Kangana as an actor, was superlative."
It was then Anurag Kashyap also chipped in, and said: "She is the finest actor. She is very sincere when it comes to work, there are other problems that she has. However, when it comes to her talent, nobody can snatch that away from her.”
"What she has in herself, as an actor, as a sincere critique also, but yes, it is very difficult to deal with her," he added.
A few years ago, Anurag Kashyap had taken to social media to say that he does not know the "new Kangana".
In a series of tweets, Anurag had said: "Kal Kangana ka interview dekha. Ek samay main meri bahut achchi dost hua karti thi. Meri har film pe aake mera hausla badhati thi. Lekin iss nayi Kangana ko main nahi jaanta. Aur uska yeh darawana interview bhi dekha jo Manikarnika ki release ke bilkul baad ka hai."
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will next be seen in 'Chandramukhi 2'.
This year, she has two other releases -- 'Tejas' and 'Emergency'. In the latter, Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the role of former India Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
'Emergency' has been directed by Kangana Ranaut, and the movie also stars Anupam Kher in a leading role.
