After attending Wimbledon, Ananya Panday joined fans at Pitbull’s London concert to help set a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps.
Bollywood star Ananya Panday is having the ultimate London getaway! From serving major fashion goals at Centre Court to making history in a sea of bald caps, the actor's recent weekend was nothing short of spectacular. After turning heads at the prestigious Wimbledon tournament, Ananya headed straight to BST Hyde Park on Friday, July 10, joining thousands of fans at Pitbull's electrifying concert to break a massive Guinness World Record.
The action-packed Friday kicked off at the All England Club. Ananya arrived in style to witness the Wimbledon men’s singles semi-finals, exuding elegance in a red Ralph Lauren Marigot Cotton-Blend Poplin midi dress. She perfectly accessorised the chic look with a Chanel tweed flap bag and tan strappy heels. Describing the experience on social media, she called it a "Perfect day at Wimbledon." But the perfect day was just getting started.
Trading the quiet intensity of the tennis court for something considerably louder, the Bollywood actress headed to see “Mr. Worldwide” himself in action. The BST Hyde Park concert wasn't just a musical spectacle – it was a history-making event. Braving the scorching summer sun, an astonishing 22,141 fans banded together to set a brand new Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps. To put that monumental achievement into perspective, the previous record stood at just 2,000 people!
Sharing her excitement alongside the carousel of photos, Ananya wrote: "Ooooooh I want the time of my liiiiifeeee, and we broke a guiness book of world record (swipe to see) and made HISTORY love u @pitbull."
The massive crowd went all out to emulate the ‘Fireball’ singer's signature aesthetic. Thousands of attendees donned skin-coloured bald caps, black suits, white shirts, black ties, and classic aviator sunglasses. This unique cosplay idea actually originated from a viral TikTok video posted by creator Jack Remmington. With the support of BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James, the massive fan coordination was brought to life, transforming the venue into a gleaming sea of Pitbull look-alikes.
Ananya was right there in the fan pit, soaking in the lively atmosphere. Looking effortlessly stylish in a black top, blue trousers, and a blue bandana, the star shared glimpses of her unforgettable night out. The Instagram dump also included a video of her grooving with the massive crowd to Pitbull's 2011 hit track ‘Rain Over Me’.
Pitbull was equally thrilled as he received his official certificate on stage. Taking to his own Instagram handle, the global superstar celebrated the milestone with his fans, writing: "WE DID IT, BALD-E'S!!! We officially set the @guinnessworldrecords title for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps at 22,141... DALEEE!"
Beyond the record-breaking concert, the ‘Call Me Bae’ actress made the absolute most of her London trip, exploring the city with her friends and indulging in plenty of pizzas.
On the professional front, Ananya was last seen on the big screen in the May 2026 release ‘Chand Mera Dil’. Directed by Vivek Soni and co-written by Soni and Tushar Paranjape, the film featured her alongside actor Lakshay. The movie explores the journey of two college lovers whose relationship is challenged as they face the new responsibilities of adulthood, leading them to reconsider their idea of love.
