Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth will finally be reuniting on the silver screen after a gap of 33 years. In the latest entertainment news, Big B has reacted to Rajinikanth's tweet about their upcoming collaboration. For the unversed, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan will be sharing the screen for 'Thalaivar 170'. Earlier, Rajinikanth had taken to X (formerly Twitter) to share his excitement about working with Big B for the first time since 1991's 'Hum'.
Now, Amitabh Bachchan has reacted to the post, saying that the Tamil superstar is being too gracious.
“Sirrrrr… you are too gracious to me, but just see the Title of the Film, it is THALAIVAR 170. Thalaivar means Leader, Head, Chief. You are the head, the Leader and the Chief. ANY DOUBT people?? I cannot compare myself with you! My great honour to be working with you again!!” Amitabh Bachchan wrote.

For the unversed, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan have previously acted together in movies like 'Hum', 'Andhaa Kaanoon' and 'Geraftaar'. 'Hum' which released in 1991, was Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth's last collaboration.
Earlier, it was confirmed that Rana Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil will also be acting in 'Thalaivar 170'. The cast of the film also includes Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan.
'Jawan' and 'Jailer' composer Anirudh Ravichander will be providing music for the film. Talking of Rajinikanth, the actor is currently celebrating the success of 'Jailer', which has made more than Rs 500 crore worldwide.
Speaking of Amitabh Bachchan, he will next be seen in 'Kalki 2898 AD' alongside Prabhas, Disha Patani, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, SS Rajamouli and Dulquer Salmaan.
