Alia Bhatt shared beautiful glimpses from her Hong Kong birthday getaway with Ranbir Kapoor and Raha.
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt turned 33 in style last week, trading the glitz of Mumbai for a whimsical family getaway to Hong Kong. After being spotted at the airport by the paparazzi earlier on Tuesday after their brief getaway, the Bollywood actress took to Instagram to share a birthday dump that has went viral due to its beautiful mix of romance, family bonding, and Disney magic. Captioning her post, “This is 33.. full of glee, so grateful,” Alia gave fans a delightful look into her celebration, featuring her husband Ranbir Kapoor, daughter Raha, and sister Shaheen Bhatt.

The first image in the carousel set a high bar for romance. In a tender, candid moment, Ranbir Kapoor can be seen planting a sweet peck on Alia’s cheek. The birthday girl, dressed in a sleek black outfit, was captured mid-laugh, radiating pure joy.

The family spent a significant portion of their trip at Hong Kong Disneyland. One of the standout photos showed the trio from behind, walking toward the iconic castle. Ranbir, ever the doting father, was seen carrying Raha on his shoulders, while Alia walked closely beside them, both parents sporting Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears. The fairytale vibe continued with a creative shot of Alia’s shadow on the ground, making a peace sign while wearing the signature Disney headband.

Perhaps the most touching part of the dump were the handwritten notes. One photo revealed a bouquet of hydrangeas and roses accompanied by a card from Alia’s parents, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. It read, “Happy Birthday, dearest Alia. May you always sparkle and shine. You are our precious jewel. Love, mama and papa.”
However, it was Raha’s card that truly stole the show. The toddler wrote a colourful message that said, “Happy Birthday mamma. With lots of (heart emoji). Raha, papa.” The drawing, filled with vibrant marker strokes and hearts, highlighted the close-knit bond the family shares.
The celebration wasn't just about the Kapoor family; Alia’s sister Shaheen was a constant companion. The dump featured a close-up of the sisters looking radiant at dinner, followed by a stunning outdoor shot against the Hong Kong skyline and harbour.
Alia also treated fans to several solo looks, including a scenic selfie taken in what appeared to be a cable car over the ocean, where she sported a casual red cap and a makeup-free glow. She capped off the collection with a chic mirror selfie, looking every bit the fashion icon in an oversized black blazer and a New York Yankees cap.
The family was spotted returning to Mumbai on Tuesday morning. Ranbir Kapoor even shared a light-hearted exchange with the paps, jokingly asking if they had brought a cake for Alia before heading to their car.
With the celebrations over, Alia is set to return to her packed schedule. She will soon be seen in the YRF spy thriller ‘Alpha’ alongside Sharvari Wagh.
Additionally, fans are eagerly awaiting her reunion with Ranbir Kapoor on screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, which also stars Vicky Kaushal.
