Ajay Devgn and Tabu will be next seen in the romantic drama ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’. The release date of the Neeraj Pandey directorial is out now.
Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Tabu, who also happen to be close friends, are known for their remarkable performances across various genres. They were first paired together in the 1994 film ‘Vijaypath’ and have been entertaining cinephiles ever since. Ajay Devgn and Tabu went on to star in movies like ‘Haqeeqat’, ‘Drishyam’, ‘Golmaal Again’, ‘De De Pyaar De’, ‘Drishyam 2’, and the 2023 release ‘Bholaa’. And if you are waiting to see one of the most loved pairings of Bollywood reunite for another movie, then we have a piece of good news for you.
Ajay Devgn and Tabu are reuniting for a film titled ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’. Acclaimed writer-director Neeraj Panday, known for helming movies like ‘A Wednesday’, ‘Special 26’, ‘Baby’, ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ and more, will be directing the upcoming Hindi film.
The film, slated to release in theatres on April 26, 2024, promises to be a unique musical love story with an epic romantic drama spanning across 20 years, set between 2002 and 2023. It will be released in multiple languages.
Ajay Devgn also shared a poster of the film on his Instagram handle and wrote, “Announcing the release date of my collaboration with Neeraj Pandey – Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, on April 26th.”

Talking about the romantic drama, the original soundtrack for the film has been composed by the renowned and celebrated music director MM Keeravaani, who achieved global recognition for his song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from SS Rajamouli’s epic action film ‘RRR’. For the unversed, ‘Naatu Naatu’ bagged the Academy Award for Best Original Song, scripting history for India.
Coming back to ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, it has been shot extensively in Mumbai. The upcoming movie also features a stellar ensemble of Jimmy Shergill, Saiee Manjrekar and Shantanu Maheshwari.
‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ is produced by Shital Bhatia (Friday Filmworks), Narendra Hirawat (NH Studioz) and Kumar Mangat Pathak (Panorama Studios).
Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn will be next seen in ‘Singham 3’, aka ‘Singham Again’. The Rohit Shetty directorial is expected to be a starry ride at the cinemas. The film not only brings back Ajay Devgn as Singham but it also marks the return of Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar to Rohit Shetty’s cop universe.
Kareena Kapoor will also be reprising her role in the upcoming Hindi movie. Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff have also joined the movie’s star cast.
On the other hand, Tabu will be next seen in ‘The Crew’, co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon.
