The day is finally here! Shah Rukh Khan has unveiled the much-awaited trailer of his upcoming movie 'Dunki', which will be releasing in theatres on December 21, 2023. The movie directed by Rajkumar Hirani also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal, and if the 'Dunki' trailer is anything to go by, be ready to feel a whole new range of emotions in the theatre.
'Dunki' is touted to be a global project set against the backdrop of illegal immigration. The story of 'Dunki' revolves around a bunch of friends wanting to go to London. However, problems arise when they are not able to travel abroad due to not being able to speak proper English.
Going by the 'Dunki' trailer, a tragedy ends up taking place, and it is then that SRK decides to take the matters into his own hands, and he makes it his mission to take his friends abroad. It is safe to say that 'Dunki' is trademark Rajkumar Hirani, and the movie will take a blockbuster start at the box office.

'Dunki' marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani.
Off late, SRK has been promoting his upcoming movie 'Dunki'. Recently, while replying to a fan's video to the film's song 'Lutt Putt Gaya', he described 'Dunki' as "saaf suthra (clean) entertainment."
“#Dunki is saaf suthra entertainment and emotion that can be enjoyed and felt by youngsters and elders alike… lots of love," said SRK.
So far, two songs from 'Dunki' have also been released titled 'Lutt Putt Gaya' and 'Nikle The Hum Kabhi Ghar Se'.
It needs to be seen whether SRK strikes gold with 'Dunki' as well. The film will be clashing against Prabhas' 'Salaar' at the box office. Prashanth Neel-directed 'Salaar' will be releasing in theatres on December 22, 2023.
