‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, starring Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar, has completed 13 years of its release.
Zoya Akhtar’s 2011 directorial venture ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, starring Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar, has completed 13 years of its release today. ‘ZNMD’ is easily one of the best movies on friendship to come out of India. The film also featured Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin. The film was a critical and commercial success, grossing over Rs 89.98 crore in India and Rs 153.10 crore globally. The story revolved around three childhood friends, Kabir (Abhay Deol), Imran (Farhan Akhtar), and Arjun (Hrithik Roshan), who reunite for road trip in Spain as part of Kabir's bachelor party.
The film’s soundtrack, composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, was very well-received. Some notable songs from the movie, include ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, ‘Ik Junoon’, ‘Khaabon Ke Parinday’, ‘Senorita’, and ‘Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein’.
Now, as the film completed 13 years today, Abhay Deol took to Instagram and asked Zoya Akhtar for an update on the sequel. Sharing photos with the cast and crew of the film, Abhay Deol wrote, “@zoieakhtar yes it’s been 13 Years. How much more time will you and my (your) bro take to write part 2?”

Farhan Akhtar also celebrated the film and wrote, “Zindagi Na the Milegi the Dobara turns 13 .. definitely as lucky as a (four-leaf clover emoji) for all of us who got to make this together .. miss this crew .. miss my bwoys.”
Abhay Deol commented on Farhan Akhtar’s post, “Who waits 13 years for their next vacation? Where and when next?” Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan reposted Zoya Akhtar’s Instagram post.
‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ truly remains a beloved film in Bollywood, celebrated for its heartfelt message, relatable characters and catchy dialogues. And we would definitely love a sequel to it!
