Is ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara 2’ On The Cards? Farhan Akhtar Drops HUGE Hint. Watch
‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ co-stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol reunited recently. Are they teasing a second part?

Zoya Akhtar’s 2011 directorial ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’, starring Abhay Deol, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar, is easily one of the best movies on friendship to come out of India. The film also featured Katrina Kaif and Kalki Koechlin in key roles. It was a critical and commercial success, grossing over Rs 89.98 crore in India and Rs 153.10 crore globally. The story revolved around three childhood friends, Kabir (Abhay Deol), Imran (Farhan Akhtar), and Arjun (Hrithik Roshan), who reunite for a road trip in Spain as part of Kabir's bachelor party.
Fans of the film have been repeatedly asking for a sequel to it and lead actors have often teased another installment. On Wednesday, Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram to share a video of Hrithik, Abhay, and himself with a novel titled ‘The Three Musketeers’. It was written by French author Alexandre Dumas in 1844.

In the caption of the post, Farhan Akhtar teased a possible installment as he wrote, “@zoieakhtar do you see the signs??”
The video showed Farhan, Hrithik and Abhay sitting together in what looked like a restaurant. Abhay, dressed in a beige t-shirt and a black jacket with chic glasses, was admiring something. Looking at the same thing, Hrithik said, “unbelievable”. He sported a brown jacket and round glasses. Farhan, sporting a casual black T-shirt, looked at the thing and called it “outstanding”.
The camera then panned to Alexandre Dumas’ novel ‘The Three Musketeers’. It is important to state that a scene in ‘ZNMD’ showcased Imran (Farhan) revealing that he and his friends Arjun (Hrithik), and Kabir (Abhay) were called ‘The Three Musketeers’, during school days.
In the comments section, Farhan’s sister and ‘ZNMD’ director Zoya Akhtar commented, “Yes the universe is speaking to me.”
Director Zoya Akhtar has often been asked about the sequel to ‘ZNMD’. Speaking to news agency ANI, Zoya had said, “Yes, this comes up all the time, and everybody is interested.”
“That movie meant a lot to us. So, if we find that soul for part two, we will make it. We don't want to do it just for money. When the audience comes to watch the second part, they will have a certain expectation, and we must give it to them; otherwise, they won't be happy,” she added.
‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ truly remains a beloved film in Bollywood, celebrated for its heartfelt message, relatable characters and catchy dialogues. And we would definitely love a sequel to it!
In 2021, Farhan Akhtar had announced another travel and friendship film ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, featuring actresses Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt. However, the film is yet to go on floors.
