KRK Calls Netflix Show Rana Naidu "Porn”, Says Such OTT Platforms Should Be “Banned”
Self-acclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan has labelled Netflix show 'Rana Naidu' as "porn".
Self-acclaimed critic Kamaal R Khan (KRK) keeps on giving his takes when it comes to movies and he is very often trolled on Twitter for his problematic takes. KRK spares no one and he has even criticised the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar on Twitter. In a latest, the self-acclaimed critic has taken potshots at Netflix show 'Rana Naidu' which stars Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh Daggubati. KRK has said that the show has "all the abuses in this world" and he even said that the show is "almost porn".
He also asked for the intervention of Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, saying such "OTT platforms should be banned."
Taking to Twitter, KRK wrote: "A web series #RanaNaidu released on @NetflixIndia which is having all the abuses of this world. It’s almost a porn. I can’t understand, what is government doing? What @ianuragthakurji wants to teach to young generation. Such OTT platforms should be banned in India."

Earlier, while addressing a press conference, Anurag Thakur said that vulgarity and abusive content is not acceptable in the name of creativity and the government has taken a serious note of complaints on vulgarity and abusive language on OTT platforms.
“These platforms were given freedom for creativity and not for obscenity and when one crosses the limit, then hurling abuses in the name of creativity cannot be accepted at all,” The Indian Express quoted Anurag Thakur as saying.
“If there is a need to change the rules, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will not hesitate. It will take tough action to stop vulgarity and abusive language,” he added.
