YouTuber and 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner Elvish Yadav was arrested in Noida on Sunday. The arrest was made by the Noida Police in connection with the snake venom case. Ever since the news of his arrest was made public, reactions started coming in thick and fast and the popular YouTuber is still trending on social media. In the latest entertainment news, 'Bigg Boss 17' winner Munawar Faruqui has reacted to Elvish Yadav’s arrest.
Munawar Faruqui was spotted outside a shoot location, and it was then that he was asked about the arrest of Elvish. However, Munawar said that he is clueless about the arrest as he has been disconnected from the events going on because his phone was switched off.
“Mujhe kuch idea nahi hai iss baare mein. Mera phone toh band tha. Mere phone ki battery puri dead ho chuki hai. I don’t know kaise hua ye sab," said Munawar Faruqui.

Munawar's reaction comes days after Elvish Yadav released a video, in which he apologised to his fans for hugging Munawar Faruqui at the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) 2024.
"Sabse pahel jo bhi mere Hindu bhai hai, unn sabhi ko mere taraf se haath jod ke sorry hai ke aapko bura laga ke maine Munawar ko gale lagaya," said Elvish Yadav.
“You guys said Elvish was wrong. I admit that I was wrong. I can sacrifice thousands of Munawar over my religion. I do not consider him as my friend or brother. I am saying this on camera. For me, my religion is supreme," he added.
Elvish Yadav was arrested on Sunday in the snake venom case, and he has also been sent to 14-day judicial custody.
The YouTuber has admitted to arranging snakes and snake venom at rave parties organised by him, as per NDTV.
Elvish Yadav who is facing a case under the Wildlife Act, is also now facing charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, states the NDTV report.
Elvish Yadav became a household name after winning Salman Khan-hosted 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' last year.
