After Being Arrested, Elvish Yadav Admits To Arranging Snake Venom At Rave Parties, Says Report

Popular YouTuber and 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' winner Elvish Yadav was arrested on Sunday in the snake venom case, and he has also been sent to 14-day judicial custody. In the latest Indian celebrity news, an NDTV report states that the YouTuber has admitted to arranging snakes and snake venom at rave parties organised by him. As per NDTV, Elvish Yadav also confessed during the questioning that he knew the other accused, arrested for supplying snake vemon last year. For the unversed, Elvish Yadav had earlier denied involvement in the snake venom row, but he has now admitted that he met the accused at different rave parties and was in contact with them.

For the unversed, Elvish Yadav was arrested on Sunday afternoon, and he was then sent to 14-day judicial custody.

Elvish Yadav who is facing a case under the Wildlife Act, is also now facing charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, states the NDTV report.

For the unversed, Section 29 of the stringent law, has been invoked against Elvish Yadav and this particular section deals with drug-related conspiracies like buying and selling. Under this law, bail is also not granted easily.

Apart from the above mentioned sections and laws, Elvish Yadav is also accused of using snakes in his music videos and video shoots. Elvish Yadav had earlier told the cops that snakes used in his videos were arranged by famous Punajbi singer Fazilpuria. 

Earlier, the police had arrested five people in this case after a raid at a banquet hall in Noida. Four people that were arrested were snake charmers. Apart from this, nine snakes and snake venom were also seized from the party.

The raid was a result of a complaint by an NGO after a member laid a trap and contacted Elvish Yadav for snake venom. The particular NGO member was then given a phone number and this led him to the five accused. 

Elvish Yadav became a household name after winning Salman Khan-hosted 'Bigg Boss OTT 2' last year.
