“Kaam Nikaal Liya”: Fans Upset As Shiv Thakare Says Sumbul Touqeer Has Come Far In ‘BB 16’ With Sajid Khan’s “Support”
‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Shiv Thakare came under fire after he said that Sumbul Touqeer Khan has survived so far in the show thanks to Sajid Khan’s support.
‘Bigg Boss 16’, hosted by megastar Salman Khan, is just about two weeks away from its grand finale. Among the seven celebrities competing for the winner’s trophy, Sumbul Touqeer Khan is the youngest contestant and fans have been enjoying her off-screen persona. While Sumbul is often targeted inside the ‘BB 16’ house for breaking down easily, she has stayed put for a really long time and is touted to be the most natural contestant on the show.
The ‘Imlie’ actress has won many hearts with her innocence, honesty and simplicity. Despite all the ups and downs in her ‘BB 16’ journey, Sumbul Touqeer has emerged as a strong player. However, Shiv Thakare thinks otherwise.
A Twitter user recently shared a video of Shiv Thakare, wherein he could be seen claiming that Sumbul has made it so far just because of the support of Sajid Khan. He went on to say that Sumbul was former ‘BB 16’ participant Sajid Khan’s priority.

In the video, he said, “Sumbul asli hai but ek baat mujhe abhi feel ho raha hai ki usne kaam nikaal lia aisa mujhe thoda feel hota hai. Wo sahi hai. Jaisi hai waisi hai. Lekin unhone support, support me yahan tak aa gayi. But wo nakli nahi lagti mujhe. Mera usko support nahi tha. Wo Sajid Sir ki priority thi pehle se. Abhi bhi meri priority MC Stan and Nimrit hai baad me wo hai. Choti hai to isliye thoda bond hai but meri help nahi hui usko.”
This didn't sit well with Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s fans and many of them took to Twitter to express their disappointment over Shiv’s statement.

This statement comes as an interesting twist as both Shiv and Sumbul share the same group of friends in ‘BB 16’. Their group is also called ‘mandali’.
With the equations changing frequently in the house, the most notable being Tina Datta and Shalin Bhanot’s bond which went sour, it will be interesting to see how long the mandali will stick together in the game going ahead.
‘Bigg Boss 16’, which premiered on October 1, 2022, will have its grand finale on February 12. Besides Shiv and Sumbul, the contestants competing for the winner’s trophy include Shalin Bhanot, MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Archana Gautam, and Priyanka Choudhary.
