'Anupamaa' actor Nitesh Pandey died on Wednesday and co-star in the show Rupali Ganguly could not hold back her tears.

The entertainment industry was given a major jolt on Wednesday as TV actor Nitesh Pandey died of a cardiac arrest aged 51. The seasoned actor is known for his role in TV show 'Anupamaa' where he shared the screen with Rupali Ganguly. The actress was also present at the funeral of Nitesh Pandey. Rupali Ganguly was seen breaking down as she was leaving the place. The video of the actress breaking down was shared by paparazzo account Viral Bhayani.

Nitesh Pandey's demise was also condoled by R Madhavan, and taking to Twitter, he wrote: "Heart broken, in shock and dismayed.. RIP my dear brother Nitesh Pandey .. your cheery disposition and ready laughter is required more in the heavens I guess . The deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family."

For the unversed, Nitesh Pandey was part of the entertainment industry for more than 25 years.
The actor had also played the role of Shah Rukh Khan's assistant in Farah Khan's-directorial titled 'Om Shanti Om', which also marked the acting debut of Deepika Padukone.
Nitesh Pandey had started his career in theatre in early 1990s, and then he went on to do a number of TV shows.
He acted in shows like 'Tejas', 'Saaya', 'Kahani' and 'Justajoo'.
The actor also played a key role in 'Khosla Ka Ghosla'.
'Anupamaa' and 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara' remain his last TV appearances.
