‘Bigg Boss 13’ fame Mahira Sharma’s mother has finally revealed if her daughter is dating Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj.
The rumours mills are rife that Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj is dating ‘Bigg Boss 13’ fame Mahira Sharma. However, the Indian actress’ mother Sania Sharma has now quashed the dating rumours, saying that there is absolutely no truth these claims. In a new interaction with Times Now, Mahira Sharma’s mother said that people these days say anything as her daughter is now a big celebrity. She also labelled these rumours as “completely false”.
“What are you saying? People say anything. Now that my daughter is a celebrity, people will link her name with anyone, so should we believe them?” she told Times Now.
For the unversed, an ETimes report had earlier claimed that Mohammed Siraj and Mahira Sharma are dating, stating the duo are “romantically involved”. The report also claimed that sources close to the two revealed they are together and have decided to keep their relationship private.
The rumours started doing the rounds after Mohammed Siraj liked one of Mahira Sharma’s Instagram posts, and the two started following each other on the social media platform.
Mahira Sharma was earlier dating Paras Chhabra. The duo had met on the sets of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and fell in love. However, the two parted ways in 2023.
In a podcast with Bhavya Singh, Paras Chhabra had opened up about their breakup and said, “We were in a relationship, everything was good, everything was great. We stayed together for as long as it was written in our fate. Everyone experiences good and bad times in life, and we both went through them together.”
“But we eventually realised that we are not compatible with each other for the future. It was fine for a while, but in the long run, we are not compatible,” he added.
Mahira Sharma rose to fame after featuring in the hit Punjabi music video of Jass Manak’s ‘Lehanga’. She also made a special appearance in the hit Indian sitcom ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’.
Mahira Sharma has also starred in several shows like ‘Partners Trouble Ho Gayi Double’, ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and more.
Mahira Sharma, who was last seen on the big screen in the 2023 Punjabi movie ‘LehemberGini’, has been working on her upcoming web series titled ‘Gangs of Ghaziabad’. The web show will also star Pankaj Tripathi, Shatrughan Sinha, Sunny Leone, and Ashutosh Rana.
The first poster of the show was released last year. It is written and directed by Nagendra Choudhry. The streaming date of the show is yet to be announced.
