“Mandir Mein Aise Kapde…”: Netizens Troll Ankita Lokhande For Wearing Shorts To Temple
Ankita Lokhande, who made headlines for her ‘Bigg Boss 17’ stint, was recently trolled by netizens for her choice of outfit during her temple visit.
Indian actress Ankita Lokhande, who recently featured alongside Randeep Hooda in the 2024 Hindi movie ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’, made headlines for her stint in the Salman Khan-hosted show ‘Bigg Boss 17’. The Indian actress appeared in ‘BB 17’ with her husband and entrepreneur Vicky Jain. Ankita and Vicky were among the most popular contestants of ‘Bigg Boss 17’. Post the show’s conclusion, Ankita Lokhande has managed to stay in the limelight for her acting projects and multiple public appearances with her husband Vicky Jain.
Recently, Ankita Lokhande was seen out and about in the city. However, she was trolled for wearing shorts to a temple. A video of Ankita Lokhande stepping out of the temple in Mumbai was shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram.

In the video, Ankita Lokhande can be seen wearing a baggy t-shirt and shorts. She also had a pink crepe bandage on her right hand.
However, Ankita Lokhande’s choice of outfit for the temple visit didn’t go down well with a section of social media users.
One user called out the actress, writing, “Shorts pehan ke mandir.”
Another user commented, “Mandir mein aise kapde pehen ke aayi hai.. waah didi.”
A third one said, “Mandir main aise kapdhe pehan ke kaun aata hai??”
“Overacting ki dukaan,” a comment on the post read.
Another user said, “Mandir in shorts??”
Recently, Ankita Lokhande slammed trolls who dropped mean comments about her mental health after a few videos of her dancing went viral.
She wrote on her Instagram account, “Yes I enjoy dancing. Yes I love being candid. Yes, I keep my inner-child alive. Thank you so much.”
Ankita Lokhande was last seen in ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’, directed, co-written and co-produced by Randeep Hooda. It was also backed by Sandeep Ssingh, Anand Pandit, Zee Studios and Yogesh Rahar. The period drama film was released on March 22 in Hindi and Marathi.
Apart from Ankita Lokhande and Randeep Hooda, the new Hindi movie also featured Amit Sial, Rajesh Khera, Lokesh Mittal, Brajesh Jha, Santosh Ojha, Rahul Kulkarni, Mrinal Dutt, Sanjay Sharma, Sal Uusuf and others.
