Indian actress Ankita Lokhande was being considered as the strongest contender to win ‘Bigg Boss 17’. However, to everyone’s shock, the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress missed out on the winner’s trophy and she finished fourth, leaving even host Salman Khan shocked. Ankita Lokhande's journey was quite a turbulent one as she was involved in many arguments with her husband Vicky Jain inside the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house. Ankita Lokhande's mother-in-law also criticised her, accusing the Indian actress of gaining sympathy by talking about her former boyfriend and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Now, Vicky Jain has showered praise on his wife Ankita Lokhande for her journey inside the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house.
Taking to Instagram, Vicky Jain shared several pictures with Ankita Lokhande. Most of the images showed Ankita and Vicky hugging and holding hands on the grand finale of ‘Bigg Boss 17’.
“Ankita, you did the Jains’ & the Lokhandes’ proud! Be it the way you played the game or the way you did not give up, harr cheez mai, you were the best and I’m sure saare tumhare saare fans, friends, sab proud honge tumhare liye,” Vicky Jain wrote.

For the unversed, stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui took home the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ winner’s trophy on Sunday. As soon as he was announced as the winner, several videos of Ankita Lokhande looking visibly upset and angry surfaced on social media.
After Ankita Lokhande’s eviction from the 'Bigg Boss 17' house, even host Salman Khan was left “shocked”.
“I am shocked kyunki mujhe aisa laga tha ki aap winner tak to aa hi jaogi,” Salman Khan had told Ankita Lokhande.
“Pichle season bhi huya tha, ki mujhe laga tha ki Priyanka Chahar Choudhary jeetegi. Aur jo mujhe reaction milta raha hai, ki Ankita would be the Bigg Boss winner this time. I am shocked that you are not, pata nahi aisa kya ho gaya hai ki aap bahar aa gayi hain. There are three contestants inside the house, infact the whole team is shocked,” he added.
For the unversed, Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Arun Mashettey, Mannara Chopra and Abhishek Kumar were the top five contestants who battled it out in the finale to win the show.
