Yuvraj Singh Recalls Dating Actress During Australia Tour, Says She "Followed" Him To Canberra
Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh talked about dating a popular Indian actress, during the 2007-08 Australia tour. Can you guess who he is talking about?
Yuvraj Singh, India's World Cup-winning hero in 2007 and 2011, is arguably one of the greatest match-winners the country has ever produced. Known for his flair and flamboyance both on and off the field, Yuvraj Singh emerged as a great warrior. During his playing days, Yuvraj Singh often made headlines for his personal life. Before tying the knot with Hazel Keech, Yuvraj Singh reportedly dated actresses like Kim Sharma and Deepika Padukone. In the latest entertainment news, during an appearance on a popular cricket podcast with former cricketers Michael Vaughan and Adam Gilchrist, Yuvraj recalled dating a popular actress during the 2007-08 Australia tour.
"I actually was dating an actress, I won't take her name," said Yuvraj Singh on the Club Prairie Fire Podcast.
When former England captain Michael Vaughan questioned, "Is she a good actress Yuvi?", the World Cup-winning India star replied, "She is really good at the moment. Lots of experience."
"She was shooting in Adelaide, I told her let's not meet for a bit because during Australia tour, you need to focus. She actually followed me to Canberra in a bus and it was during the middle of a Test tour. In the first two Tests, I did not get many runs. I was like, 'what are you doing here?'. She was like 'I want to spend time with you," said Yuvraj Singh.
"I had met her during the night, we had a chat that you need to focus on your career and I need to focus on mine. Anyways, leaving in the morning for Adelaide, she packed my suitcase. In the morning, I was like where are my shoes, and she said, I packed them. I was like how am I going to go in the bus?" he added.
Speaking further, Yuvraj said, "She said why don't you wear my shoes. So, she had those pink slip-ons, and I was like 'my god'. I had to wear those pink slip-ons which were size eight, and I am size eleven. When everybody saw me on the bus, everyone gave me a clap. I then got dropped for the next Test match (laughs). This is a story from the 2007 Test tour."
For the unversed, it is important to mention that Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone was spotted cheering for Yuvraj during the 2007-08 Australia tour. There were several images that surfaced, which showed Yuvraj and Deepika dining at a restaurant in Australia.
