Instead of staying tucked away in the dressing room for pre-match planning, several members of the ‘Men in Blue’ were seen leaning over the railing to get a better view of the show.
Spotted on the balcony were Ishan Kishan, Arshdeep Singh, and several others, who seemed just as intrigued by the festivities. But it was Suryakumar Yadav who became the centre of the joke.
The video, captioned “When Devisha caught Surya in 4K,” showed the exact moment Devisha, seated in the VIP stands, looked up and spotted her husband intently watching the performance.
The highlight of the clip was the immediate aftermath of being spotted. As soon as Surya realized his wife has a visual on him, he broke into a sheepish, embarrassed grin. He quickly tried to look away, but the damage was already done.
His teammates, Ishan Kishan and Arshdeep Singh, who were standing right next to him, didn't miss the opportunity to roast him. Both players were seen doubling over in laughter, pointing at Surya and essentially making sure the moment was as awkward as possible for the batter.
