Many celebrities, including singers Shreya Ghoshal and Papon, attended the concert. Coldplay performed their hit songs such as ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ and ‘Fix You’, among others.
For the unversed, in 2016, Chris Martin and his band performed in India at the Global Citizen Festival, and Shah Rukh had hosted an after-party for the singer at his home.
Currently, the band is in India as a part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. The British band has another show at the DY Patil Stadium on Tuesday. A fourth show will be held at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25 and another one on January 26.
Apart from Chris Martin, Coldplay also includes guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, drummer and percussionist Will Champion, and manager Phil Harvey.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan recently lent his voice to the Hindi version of Disney's 'Mufasa: The Lion King'. It released in Indian theatres on December 20.
SRK will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s 'King', alongside Suhana Khan. The film will reportedly also star Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma. The movie is being jointly bankrolled by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures.
SRK was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'. The superstar had delivered three hits in 2023 in the form of 'Pathaan', 'Jawan', and 'Dunki'.
'Pathaan' marked Shah Rukh Khan's return to the big screen after a gap of more than four years after his 2018 film ‘Zero’ tanked at the box office.
