The day is finally here. Rohit Sharma and the rest of the T20 World Cup-winning Indian team have arrived in India. The T20 World Cup-winning contingent arrived in Delhi on Thursday morning. A huge crowd gathered the entire squad at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, and after making their way out of the terminal, the entire team proceeded to ITC Maurya, Chanakyapuri. In the latest trending news, several videos are now going viral, in which Team India captain Rohit Sharma can be seen dancing to dhol beats. 

Apart from Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rishabh Pant were also seen flaunting their dance moves as Bhangra beats added a special touch to the celebratory atmosphere.

The fans were seen cheering on the trio. After arriving at the airport, Rohit Sharma was also seen flaunting the T20 World Cup trophy, and the fans who had gathered outside Terminal 3 of the Indira Gandhi Airport in the capital city, were seen cheering.

India players were greeted by loud cheers from fans outside the airport. Skipper Rohit Sharma led the team out of the airport as he was seen carrying the trophy with him. "Virat Kohli, Virat Kohli" chants also rang loud at the airport and the former captain acknowledged the love by waving towards the fans. 

Virat Kohli also met his sister and posed with the World Cup medal after reaching the team hotel. The ITC Maurya in New Delhi also arranged for a special cake for the entire T20 World Cup-winning contingent. 

Team India is slated to have breakfast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. After meeting the PM, the team will leave for Mumbai.

In Mumbai, the team will be having an open-top bus parade across Marine Drive.

Rohit Sharma and co will then be felicitated at the Wankhede Stadium later in the evening. It is expected that the BCCI will be giving away the prize money of Rs 125 crore to Team India today itself. 

Team India defeated South Africa in the finals of the T20 World Cup on Saturday, and as a result, the side won an ICC event after a gap of 11 years. The team also won the T20 World Cup for the second time, after 2007. 

Team India was stuck in Barbados for more than two days because of Hurricane Beryl, and the team finally departed for Delhi on Wednesday morning. 

After the T20 World Cup win, the likes of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja announced their retirement from T20Is.
