Among the many celebratory posts, King Kohli’s Instagram post following the triumph has now achieved a milestone of its own, becoming the most-liked post on the social media platform. This post has overtaken the record previously held by Bollywood couple Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra’s wedding pictures.
It has been over a year since Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tied the knot in a lavish ceremony. However, King Kohli’s post has garnered an impressive 18 million likes and counting. This beats Kiara and Sidharth’s wedding post, which amassed 16.26 million likes.

Speaking to the host broadcaster, Virat Kohli said, “This was my last T20 game playing for India. We wanted to lift that cup. Yes, I have (whether he is confirming his retirement), this was an open secret. Wasn't something that I was not going to announce even if we had lost. Time for the next generation to take the T20 game forward and do wonders as we have seen them do in the IPL.”
Virat Kohli, who scored the highest runs in the T20 World Cup final match for India, made 76 runs off 59 balls, contributing significantly to India’s total score of 176 runs.
