Tamil superstar Vikram, best known as Chiyaan Vikram, will next be seen in the much-awaited 'Thangalaan', and in the latest entertainment news, the makers on Wednesday evening, unveiled the first full trailer of the new Tamil film, which is going to be released in multiple languages, such as Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. The PA Ranjith film is set in Karnataka's Kolar Gold Fields, where the locals end up discovering their true selves to rebel against the British for taking their land from them. The new Tamil movie trailer also perfectly teases an engaging historical drama. Vikram's look in the film will blow your mind.

However, the new Tamil movie trailer does not specify the exact release date of the film. Earlier, it was supposed to be released in cinemas in January 2024, but it has been postponed multiple times.
As per several reports, the makers narrowed down on August 15 as the release date, but it is yet to be confirmed by the makers.
Apart from Chiyaan Vikram, the film also stars Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy, Pasupathy, Daniel Caltagirone, Arjun Anbudan, and Sampath Ram.
'Thangalaan' has been co-produced by Studio Green, Neelam Productions and Jio Studios. The film has been penned by Ranjith, Tamil Prabha, and Azhagiya Periyavan.
GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the film while the editing and cinematography departments are being handled by Selva RK and Kishor Kumar, respectively.
Meanwhile, Chiyaan Vikram was last seen in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyan Selvan II', alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha Krishnan.
