Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif are unarguably some of the most popular actresses in India and have delivered several blockbuster movies in their careers. The trio was supposed to team up for the movie ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, set to be directed by actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar. The movie was announced in 2021 but there has been no update about the project ever since. The movie’s team has addressed its delay in previous interviews. In a new interview with News18 Showsha, Alia Bhatt was asked about the Farhan Akhtar directorial and talked about the film's delay.

Talking about ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, Alia Bhatt said, “I think the intention to make that film from everybody’s perspective is very strong because of the nature of the subject and the collaboration. Here’s a really strong team of collaborators coming together. The intention is to make it happen but like I said, sometimes there is time and place for everything and you have to wait for the right time to come together. But, I think the intention in everybody’s heart is to this film to hit the big screen. Someday or the other, we just need to figure out the timing.”

‘Jee Le Zaraa’ was announced in 2021. Sharing a picture with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote on Instagram, “Let’s rewind, to me musing about wanting to do another Hindi movie ASAP, on an unusually rainy night in Mumbai in Nov 2019.”

Alia Bhatt also opened up about collaborating with her husband and actor Ranbir Kapoor for the second time in the upcoming movie ‘Love & War’. For the unversed, Alia Bhatt is reuniting with Ranbir after ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’.

‘Love & War’ also marks Alia Bhatt’s reunion with Vicky Kaushal after ‘Raazi’ and her second collaboration with the movie’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali after working with him on ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.

She said, “There are so many layers to look forward to that I am not sure which one to pick. I think, first and foremost the pleasure of working with Sanjay sir once again and the honour I would say because under his guidance and gears, you flourish is step number one. You can go anywhere with it just because of his attention to detail and his attention to you.”

She added, “I as an audience am so excited to see him and Ranbir collaborate together after so many years. I am like ‘Wow’. And then Vicky and I coming together again and then Ranbir and Vicky, they have created magic with Sanju. So it’s a lot of combinations, but of course, at the end of the day, the intention is to just keep your head down and work hard and not get the other excitement come in between, because the excitement with the film and the material is most important. And when you are on set, you just have to give your 110 per cent.”

Alia Bhatt, who is all set to unleash her action avatar with a spy thriller film under the YRF banner, was asked about the same. However, the actress remained tight-lipped about the upcoming movie and said, “I think there is time and place for everything.”

The Bollywood actress also spoke about her next movie ‘Jigra’, which marks her maiden collaboration with director Vasan Bala and actor Vedang Raina, who made his debut in 2023 with Zoya Akhtar’s ‘The Archies’.

‘Jigra’ will be released in theatres on October 11. Alia Bhatt was last seen in Karan Johar’s 2023 movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, co-starring Ranveer Singh.
